    Lost cord

Monday, May 12, 2008, 12:30 PM EST [General]

I seriously need to find my camera cord so I can post my pictures! A luna(r) happened into my house recently and despite the dog trying to eat it I got some rather nice pictures. Happy late mother's day to my online moms! I kept getting happy mother's day from strangers, it's getting to the age where people ask how many kids you have and telling you happy mother's day. I've been battling the kitchen sink for about a week now, i've tried draino and lime away....and nada! I went over to a friends yesterday and she suggested a clothes hanger and wouldn't you know it!!! It fixed it instantly, I flushed it with more hot water and lime away before it could stop up again. I get to stay home to today and tend house. I'm not so bothered by that though, I get to spend time in my garden, and online between chores. Ooh and there's always Final Fantasy X!!! I tried to get a picture of the progress but in order to get in the whole garden all you can see of the plants are little green lines or splotches; and of course there's still the matter of the missing cord, so even if I got them I couldn't put them online. It's weird growing up and everyone growing up around me, do you ever get used to it? My friend's family, whom i've known for years, for instance. When I first met them they had two little ones running around annoying the snot out of my friend and fighting. Now ones pregnant and due in june and the other has a job.
Much love and happiness to all! ^ ^

    Feeling better!

Wednesday, May 7, 2008, 10:53 PM EST [General]

I'm feeling much better today! ^ ^ I went out and got a tattoo, it was supposed to be the leo symbol but with flame coming off. It didn't turn out so well though, that's what I get for getting a tat when I'm down. Oh well call it a life lesson, it'll probably look better when it heals. It's red orange and yellow. Me and Richard are getting along better. We went down to the pond where he took me when we were just friends and/or barely dating. it was nice we sat and talked and listened to the frogs. Our dog followed and she wouldn't sit still, it was funny to hear her running around snorting up the assortment of smells quite loudly. We spooked a beaver when we first walked up so I screamed....rather effeminently, and richard laughed. Glad to be feeling better, thank you for such kind words, Jody. You really know how I feel/felt. thank you^ ^ Love to all the covenspacers and my internet moms, and the real one if she happens to stop in.

    Blue

Wednesday, May 7, 2008, 02:30 AM EST [General]

Got the 2 am blues. The best laid plans of mice and men, I guess. Just struggling a little with life. I'm sure I'll overcome but my dawn seems long in coming, the night holds me and won't relent.
The funeral went well. I took over moms role and kept making people laugh and stuff. I leaned over to my aunt and asked if she thought the organist would take request maybe a little ina goda da vida. and she laughed. the family met back up and my 4 year old cousin got a hold of the water hose. everyone else started to on the trek to safety but I sat still. I told them the water might feel nice, and they said I sounded just like mom, that made me quite proud. Everyone kept asking about her and it made me miss her alot. My main bummage is that my fiance and I are a little bit kaput. we said a break but I don't see it mending. I'm having trouble dealing, we still live together and share a bed. Thus the 2 am blues. He's my first love and we were together for 4 years, friends for 7 both the families had accepted the idea of us spending our lives together and we used to get comments on how we'd be the ones to make it, and now where are we? I just wonder if the pain will ever stop. I'm feeling a little better now. Pleasant dreams covenspacers and internet moms.

    Funeral

Monday, May 5, 2008, 08:17 AM EST [General]

Good morning covenspace(rs)! Hope your day is going well. I have to attend a funeral today. Why is it the day you have to get up early you can't sleep and keep waking up every hour? Oh well. At least I didn't have to worry about not waking up on time. I feel kinda bad because I wasn't close to the deceased. His wife had enough character for both of them, but him....not so much. In fact, he made some of us in the family feel a little uncomfortable. But that is no excuse not to be respectful. My other issue is that my ex fiance isn't joining me, i understand not liking funerals and that it's no longer his responsibility to accompany me. So I guess I'll try to latch on with my aunt and cousins. Nothing spells fun at a funeral (haha, just caught that funeral starts with fun) like a 4 year old. Oh well, hopefully I'll get a chance to come home and relax a little on my day off. Play with Otho (the dog) and enjoy the progress of my garden. Nothing makes me happier than seeing those little green sprouts getting taller and taller. I planted Gladiolas, Tiger lilly, dahlias, and little women. ( I think that's what they were called). Richard is talking about planting veggies. I had a delivery recently and the person had a garden FULL of strawberry plants. I was excited to have been able to identify them without having had to see the fruit, and I like finding common ground with the customers. Well a formidable looking man decked out in favorite sports team regalia answered the door. I was unsure of mentioning his garden efforts, I thought the strawberries must have been his wife's garden. Well anyway I mention them and he goes off on this tangent about how the squirrels keep eating the flowers so that the fruit won't grow. Well I was blown away, but quite pleasantly so. One year we had a strawberry plant pop up next to one of our tomato plants and when it produced tomatoes they were sweet like strawberries! ^ ^ Richard's been talking about planting peppers next to tomatoes to see if they get a little kick. Well done rambling for now. Have a good day everyone!!!!!
